Bethany UMC
Bethany United Methodist Church (UMC) has been a cornerstone of Reedville, Virginia going back to the 1800s. The current sanctuary was dedicated in 1901.
While we are certainly proud of our beautiful sanctuary, buildings and rich history, we face the future with great expectations for new opportunities to serve our Lord by serving our neighbors.

Meet Our Pastor
Dinah Bondzie
Dinah Bondzie lives by the rule in John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” which reminds her that God is always with her in good or bad times.
Dinah was born into the Methodist Church in Ghana and attended Methodist High School in Ghana, then to Methodist pre-college in the United Kingdom, and to a Lutheran College in Minnesota. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Operations in 1993 from Gustavus Adolphus College. After college she worked in the Information Technology Services. She joined the VAUMC in 1997 and joined Liberty UMC in 2002 and is currently pursuing her Masters of Divinity Degree (MDIV) to become an Ordained Elder and recently finished her 1st level of Clinical Pastoral Education at Mary Washington Hospital with graduation Spring 2024.
Dinah enjoys people, reading, photography, Bible studies, singing, volunteering at community events like dinner and foodbank, experiencing different cultures, and providing pastoral care. She has a son at George Mason University.
