Ministries
Our ministries provide opportunities to nurture and serve within and beyond our community.
Rebekah Circle
The Rebekah Circle is a community of women whose purpose is to know God, create a supportive fellowship, and participate in various mission projects throughout the year.
Women’s Bible Study
This Bible Study group is a place to join with women of all ages and denominations to learn and grow in Christian discipleship. We read God’s word and a variety of Christian authors to deepen our faith and discern Christ’s calling for our lives. We meet on Wednesday mornings for discussion and prayer – please join us!
Blessing Bears
The Blessing Bears are donated and have been among the church congregation hearing the Word read and taught, prayers prayed, and songs of praise and worship sung. The Bears are meant for anyone to hug and hold on to and to know they are never alone, are thought of, prayed for, and loved.
Pastoral Care
Pastoral care is a fundamental aspect of our church community. Our pastor and lay leaders nurture the well-being and growth of the congregation’s members, as well as those unchurched who may be seeking help. The primary objectives include Spiritual Guidance, Emotional Support, Crisis Intervention, Conflict Resolution, Discipleship, and Mentorship.
Bereavement Committee
The Bereavement Committee is a group of volunteers who serve those who are experiencing the loss of a loved one by assisting with a reception following a funeral service.
Mission Team
The Missions Ministry’s goal is to go forth and be examples of Christ through good works and deeds. Our primary focus is to support mission trips to areas of need due to previous natural disasters or other situations. We aim to leave each location in better condition than found—and with positive examples of being servant leaders.
Music
Our vocal and bell choirs are a service to God that supports the sermon by leading the congregation through song and worship.
Visitation
The visitation ministry offers comfort, companionship, and spiritual support to individuals who are homebound, hospitalized, or are otherwise unable to attend service for a variety of reasons. It provides an opportunity for Bethany to maintain a connection with these individuals, reminding them that they are a valued part of the community.
Hospitality
The hospitality ministry plays a vital role in creating an environment where regular attendees and visitors alike can experience a sense of belonging, warmth, and connection with the church family. Key aspects of this ministry include our Greeters and Ushers, Visitor Welcome, Follow-Up and Connection, Assistance for Special needs, Hosting Special Events, as well as Coffee and Refreshments following worship.

Bethany is not a static entity and evolves to meet the needs of the church and local community. This group continuously seeks to anticipate future needs and identifies and implements potentially new and imaginative ways to help us come closer to fulfilling God’s plan.
